The key to having a great smile is healthy teeth and gums. Our focus and goal is to help you achieve and maintain a high level of oral healthcare which will help prevent tooth decay, gum problems and other dental conditions.
Preventive dental care starts early! Even before any baby teeth have erupted, parents can gently clean an infants’ gums with a soft cloth after feeding. Preventive care in adolescence includes dental sealants, fluoride, regular dental brushing and flossing, and the use of custom made mouth guards to protect their teeth during sports.
Preventive dentistry is a team effort, combining good in-home care by patients and caregivers with in-office care by dental professionals. Regular visits to the dentist help us keep a close eye on what is happening in your mouth and allow us to treat any potential problems at an early stage, before they become a bigger issue. Ultimately, preventive dentistry can result in less expensive and less extensive treatment for dental conditions that may arise.
